Members of Northland Country Club enjoy the city’s only full-size, heated outdoor swimming pool that has a zero-entry pool for kids. Open all season long, the pool offers endless entertainment and relaxation on long summer days for members and their families.
Lounge poolside while the golfers in your family enjoy the fairways, or if everyone in your group loves golf, consider the pool a refreshing way to relax after your round. Either way, our lifeguards will be there for you and your family’s safety and comfort for the pool season!
Endless Activities by the Pool
During pool season, Northland Country Club offers members endless poolside activities to keep everyone entertained. Many members find that simply relaxing on our large sundeck is enough activity, however!
Adults can order drinks and have them brought poolside. If lunch is on the agenda, that can be arranged on the spacious sundeck as well.
There are also swim lessons for children of all ages. Learn from certified professional lifeguards who are there for everyone’s protection and peace of mind. Northland has trained instructors providing group and private swimming lessons. You may sign up for as many or as few as you would like.
Swimming Lessons
Our lifeguards are contracted through Lake Superior Swim Club and offer group and private swimming lessons easily booked through their website.
Pool Amenities
The pool area features a patio area, sunning deck, snack shop and poolside food and beverage service. For your convenience there are showers, lockers, changing areas, and restrooms located at the pool. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. No swimming is allowed without a lifeguard on duty.

Pool will open if the forecast is favorable and the temperature is 65° by 11:00 am.

Tennis at Northland Country Club
Northland Country Club offers its members two lighted tennis courts and the Tennis Hut building where families are encouraged to be a part of the action at the courts. It’s more than just a perk of membership— it’s a main feature!

As a member of Northland Country Club, you can enjoy the finest tennis amenities as well. Watch your children in comfort as they take a lesson or gather with friends after a match. This will surely become a favorite place to be for all ages.

Professional Tennis Lessons from Friendly Instructors
Our tennis program also offers many classes taught by highly professional and experienced tennis instructors. All levels are taught, from beginners to advanced play. Let our tennis pros teach you or your children the game of tennis. Group and private lessons are provided. As well as tennis events througout the summer.
Our head instructor is available for all levels of play. Instruction is taught in play-based sessions for young beginners, beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
In addition, Northland Country Club offers a Tennis Camp throughout the summer season.
More Tennis Perks
Another perk on top of the entertaining amenities that our Tennis Department offers and the full season of tennis instruction each year, members can also enjoy the annual Junior Tennis Tournament.
Preparing for a tournament is a great way for kids and teens to learn about the game of tennis. It’s also a great way for families to come together and rally behind their junior ‘champion’ as the summer progresses!
